There are some very special classes and workshops next week that we would like to bring to your attention.
Monday 17th March
Linda Dangoor, author of ‘Flavours of Babylon’ will be leading our International Cookery class on Monday 17th March from 12pm – 1.30pm. Linda will be introducing members to aromatic and spicy Persian cuisine, inspired by her heritage. We are looking forward to what’s sure to be another popular class!
Wednesday 19th March
Join Chris Horner and the Second Half Centre walking group for a five mile Spring stroll.. Meet at 9.30am on Wednesday 19th March at Ladbroke Grove Station or alternatively join the group at 10.15am at Great Portland Street. The walk will be starting from Regents Park, before continuing onto Primrose Hill. There will be a stop off for a pub lunch along the way. Join Marianne Astor for her now famous Tapestry workshop on Wednesday 19th of March from 10.00am – 12.00pm. Members will be perfecting the art of needlework whilst enjoying great company and conversation. Sign up now, this workshop is not to be missed!
Thursday 20th March
Join the Book Club on Thursday 20th March 3.30pm – 5.00pm to discuss J.D Salinger’s classic novel The Catcher in the Rye. Come along for some stimulating, interesting discussions and great company!
Friday 21st March
On Friday 21st March we will be holding the very first Second Half Centre Vintage Clothes Sale! Come along to find some true gems, with all proceeds going towards the Second Half Foundation and the end of term party!

Designing and Practical Gardening members will be venturing to the Garden History museum in Lambeth on the 25th of March. Join Michael Runge for the final class of the term, and what’s sure to be a delightful day out!
